The Suzuran Senior High School for Boys, nicknamed “The School of Crows.”

It is the poorest achieving, most violent school in the country. The students are
called “crows” and they band together in factions, battling each other for influence
and power. But they all share a common goal… one that has never been reached in the
school’s history: unification. No one faction has ever reigned supreme.

But that could change. A powerful faction called the “Serizawa Army” is the closest
to that coveted goal. It is led by a third-year student, Tamao Serizawa (Takayuki Yamada),
a beastly fighter deeply trusted by his aides.

Then one day, a mysterious transfer student appears. He is third-year student, Genji
Takiya (Shun Oguri). His father is boss of a powerful crime syndicate. Genji wants to
someday succeed him, but has been given a challenging condition: win control of Suzuran.
He’s tough, stubborn and confident in his fighting ability. But he’s always been a loner,
not a leader. Fortunately, his path crosses with Ken Katagiri (Kyosuke Yabe), a Suzuran
“graduate” who once dreamed of conquering Suzuran himself but is now a low-ranking
mobster. Pinning his failed dreams on Genji, Ken becomes his outside advisor. Soon,
Genji has brought three powerful rivals to Serizawa together under a new coalition
nicknamed “GPS” (“Genji’s Perfect Succession”). Gradually, the tension mounts.
With every little skirmish, GPS members harden their resolve. But one of Genji’s strongest allies is then viciously ambushed by Serizawa’s boys, and for the first time in his life, Genji is pained and angered by the misfortune of another, a comrade. He begins to realize that Suzuran cannot be taken by sheer force. He needs to lead with traits he has never possessed: charisma, diplomacy, compassion and insight. As Genji comes to acquire the keys to true leadership, the timing for a final showdown inches closer.
